Autism Awareness Week with Todd & Sami!
April 2nd marks World Autism Awareness Day! So, Todd & Sami have decided that for one special week they will be shining a light on the importance of understanding, acceptance and inclusion of autism.
Each day this week, they’ll welcome a local child with autism into the studio! They’ll get the chance to share their world, their interests and some of their unique perspectives.
Alongside Todd & Sami, they’ll chat, laugh and take part on-air in celebrating them as the incredible individuals they are! One very special guest will be Sami’s son, Nixon!
It’s all about fostering inclusion, understanding and appreciation for the diverse and brilliant minds in our community.
About World Autism Understanding Day:
Almost half (49%) of recently surveyed* Australians have limited to no understanding of autism.
World Autism Understanding Day is designed to change perceptions and dispel myths about autism in order to create a more inclusive Australia.
