92.7 Mix FM is back for the 25th year in a in a row with its annual Give Me 5 fundraising campaign to help sick kids on the Sunshine Coast. This campaign’s events raise money where it’s most critically needed. By partnering with Wishlist, each contribution helps cover health services for sick children and their families.

What is Give Me 5?
Each year, 92.7 Mix FM embarks on a month-long journey to raise funds for the growing health needs on the Sunshine Coast. Over the past 25 years, over $7.3 million has been raised. Last year alone, Mix FM garnered over $500,000 in funds raised for Wishlist. Year after year, generous Sunshine Coast residents and businesses show their support for the community.

The campaign for sick children
Here are some of the events and opportunities available to support the effort during the fundraising month.
Give Me 5 2025 Launch
To kickstart our 26th year, Mark & AB will open the campaign live on-air surrounded by over 200 animals next to a Sunny Coast landmark, The Big Pineapple. This annual appeal in partnership with Wishlist aims to raise vital funds for sicks kids and their families in our local community.
Gentlemen’s Long Lunch at Augellos
Gather your mates for a long lunch of purpose, Italian fare and good banter all set against the stunning Mooloolaba beachfront. Every ticket purchased goes towards our Give Me 5 Campaign that raises much-needed funds for Wishlist to continue their support and care of sick kids and their families from our local Sunshine Coast & Gympie community.
Silent Art Auction at the Homemaker Centre
Thanks to the generosity of local artists and businesses, we have an array of art pieces up for auction this year. Displayed within the Maroochydore Homemaker Centre, you can wander the centre to find your next piece and support local art for our local hearts! Each piece displayed is up for auction, with all proceeds contributing to our 2025 Give Me 5 Campaign and fundraising for the growing health needs of our sick community.
Cash Clean Up
Who can rally the coast community and local business to raise the most cash for 2025? Our MIX FM team goes head to head in our annual friendly competition, where the stake’s are real! Every dollar rallied or scrummaged goes towards the purchase and innovation of vital technology and services our partner Wishlist require to continue supporting sunny coast’s sick community.
Live Art Auction
Our Live Art Auction event always makes for a vibrant evening of both art and generosity! Come and join for a night of dinner, drinks and determined bidding as beautiful pieces from talented local artists go under the hammer for a good cause. Every successful bid contributes to the funds and support our Partner Wishlist relies on to help sick kids and their families right here on the Sunny Coast.
Travis Schultz Long Lunch
Set at the Boat Shed overlooking the Maroochy River, our Travis Schultz Long Lunch is one of big impact! It’s your chance to network and give back at the same time. Funds raised from tickets purchased all go towards our shared mission with Wishlist to support vital health services for sicks kids on the Sunny Coast.
Give Me Hog Ride
Join a convoy of community spirit for our 2025 GM5 Hog Ride! This ride is your chance to cruise the coast, while giving back to it as all proceeds raised on the road supports our kids and families through our amazing partner, Wishlist. Gear up and get ready to ride for a cause that really matters.
